Banana and Oat Pancakes

Light and Fluffy, healthy pancakes | Great for breakfast ensuring a perfect start to the day!

Oats are among the healthiest grains on earth. They’re a gluten-free whole grain and a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants. They are also quite high in protein, for added protein it could be served with a light spread of nut butter.

Banana and Oats Pancakes

20-30 mins makes 10 pancakes Easy


1 1/2 cups oats

2 spotty bananas (or 3 if small)

1 cup water

1/2 cup plant-based milk (e.g. oats, soya, almond etc.)

Pinch salt

Oil - preferably coconut


  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth

  2. Heat the pan and brush with coconut oil

  3. Spoon 4 tablespoons (5 dessert spoons) of pancake mixture onto a hot pan

  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes until bubbles appear and pancake starts to set

  5. Flip Pancake over and flip

  6. Flip pancake over and cook the other side

  7. Enjoyyy

Optional: This could be served with natural sweetener such as honey, maple syrup or date syrup. It can also be topped with desiccated coconut and some fresh fruit i.e. bananas sliced, handful of blueberries and or strawberries
